IPL was audited by ExxonMobil at the start of November. The purpose of the audit was to evaluate the quality assurance practices associated with the testing carried out by IPL and to determine the effectiveness of these practices with respect to ExxonMobil's data integrity framework.
As part of the audit, our staff were observed performing a range of test methods, our quality and safety procedures were assessed, the records of IPL's data were considered and interviews were carried out with our employees.
Following this audit, IPL obtained a great result therefore retaining its preferred status as a testing service provider. It was established that IPL is an organisation that pays great attention to safety in the lab, that the staff is well trained and very knowledgeable and that several improvements were made with their quality system.
